Why “The Woods”?
In the Bible we see 3 very important Trees. First in the very beginning in the book of Genesis we see the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil… the representation of the separation between man and God. Then at the very end in Revelation we see a picture of what is to come, we see “The Tree of Life”. A place void of sorrow, hurt, or hate. And here we are in 2014 somewhere in between those two trees. There is a third tree that is vital to escape from the first tree and reach the final tree… That is the Tree on Calvary. We see Jesus, 100% man 100% God, who came from Heaven to be crucified on a tree so we may know eternal life. Whether you are on the front side of the woods and do not know the saving grace of Jesus or you are on the backside having received salvation. Life is lived within the trees.
This is your invitation:
Jesus came to seek and to save those who are lost, big or small, rich or poor, whether you are super attractive or have a great personality this is a place for you! No matter who you are we want you to feel welcome. We all have problems, issues, weaknesses, and pasts but that is what makes our God so great…we are all broken. But there is a God who loves us exactly the way we are! This is your invitation to come meet Him.
Revelation 22:5 - 5"And night will be no more. They will need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord God will be their light, and they will reign forever and ever."
